Star Trek Starfleet

The Steamrunner Class was a Federation starship in service with Starfleet during the late 24th century. It featured a unique saucer design and a separate secondary hull, which is joined at the aft to the ship's nacelles. As defensive war vessels, these ships shielded Starfleet in the Battle of Cardassia, Dominion War, and Battle of Sector 001 against the Borg.

The U.S.S. Excelsior NCC-2000 made its debut in STAR TREK lll: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK and was always intended to be an advanced vessel that made the Enterprise looks old. The ship underwent some changes when it reappeared in STAR TREK VI: THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY under Captain Sulu's command and this is the version that the model replicates. As well as the usual profile, the magazine takes a look at the rejected study models that ILM's Bill George built as part of the design process.

The Warp Delta was one of the first ships to serve with United Earth Starfleet during the 22nd century. It was armed with phase cannons and mainly used to protect Earth.

The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C was the Ambassador-class ship from the early 24th century captained by Rachel Garrett and fought four Romular warbirds at a Klingon outpost. Deeply impressed by the act of self-sacrifice to protect the outpost, the Klingons established peace with the United Federation of Planets, enforcing harmony between the two groups.

The U.S.S. Equinox NCC-72381 appeared in STAR TREK: VOYAGER's fifth season finale. It was a smaller ship than the U.S.S. VOYAGER and had also been stranded in the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker. In the face of impossible odds, her crew had taken some moral shortcuts in an effort to get home. The die-cast model is based on the original Lightwave model that was created for the two-part episode by Foundation Imaging but has been cleaned up to show the ship in pristine condition. The magazine takes a look at the Nova class and Rick Sternbach's original concept drawings.

The Defiant was initially designed by STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE (DS9) and the feature film STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT art illustrator Jim Martin and we have brought this to life in the STAR TREK STARFLEET Collection.

The S.S. Emmette was an Earth starship that bridged the gap between the Phoenix and the launch of Enterprise NX-01. The S.S. Emmette was one of Earth’s earliest warp-powered starships. It was in service sometime after the start of the Phoenix – Earth’s first successful warp-powered ship in 2063 – and the development. 

This model is cast in high-quality materials and carefully painted by hand to provide incredible detail; the model captures the ‘D’–shaped the primary hull, with up-swept wings on either side onto which short warp nacelles can been seen. Inside the magazine, digital artist Robert Bonchune reveals how he built the S.S. Emmette for the opening titles of STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE. The producers also revealed insights into the set up of STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE and writing for the series.

The U.S.S. Stargazer NCC-2893, the ship that Picard commanded before the Enterprise-D and a rare example of a Starfleet vessel from the early part of the 24th century. It's also unusual in being one of a handful of Starfleet ships that has four rather than two nacelles and, as the magazine reveals, it started life as a piece of set dressing rather than a fully-fledged design for a starship.

The U.S.S. Bozeman NCC-1941 is a 23rd century Soyuz-class starship that became trapped in a temporal distortion for 90 years. In 2278, this starship was commanded by Captain Morgan Bateson. In that year, three weeks out of starbase, the Bozeman encountered a temporal distortion in an area of space known as the Typhon Expanse.

The Delta Flyer ship was constructed in the Delta Quadrant by the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656 using both Starfleet and Borg technology. First seen in the episode ‘Extreme Risk’, this vehicle was larger than a standard shuttlecraft, with retractable warp nacelles, and more able to handle the Delta Quadrant’s hostile environments.
