Each superbly detailed 1:21 scale chess piece has been sculpted by expert modellers, cast in metallic resin and then hand-painted – the white team with a silvered finish, the black with a bronzed sheen. The characters are either the latest incarnation, as is the case with Batman and Robin, or are classic in appearance, as is the Joker. A crest on the front of each base shows each piece’s rank.
