STAR TREK: PICARD SEASON 3 WILL REUNITE TNG CAST
STAR TREK: PICARD SEASON 3 WILL REUNITE TNG CAST
Star Trek: Picard will see the original The Next Generation cast reunited for the third - and final - the season of the sci-fi series.
Fans are currently getting stuck into the second season of Picard, but no sooner have we been gifted new, weekly episodes of the show, Paramount has only gone and revealed what's in store for the next collection of stories.
Despite the newest season not concluding its 10-episode run until May 5, currently, it's on episode 6 this week (airing April 7), it hasn't stopped the franchise from revealing some huge details for the follow-up. It's been officially revealed that the TNG cast will appear in season 3 and that the third will be the last ever - something Sir Patrick Stewart inadvertently confirmed months ago during an interview.
LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, and Brent Spiner, stars of the 1990s television show, will join Stewart on-screen, the news revealed.

"I remember watching the premiere of Star Trek: The Next Generation almost 34 years ago with my father like it was yesterday. It was the spark that ignited my love for science fiction," said its showrunner and executive producer Terry Matalas, according to Star Trek dot com.
Even though the Picard saga will be coming to an end there's still plenty of Star Trek shows on their way, including new seasons of Discovery, Lower Decks and new shows Prodigy and Strange New Worlds.
