Eternals Deleted Scenes

Eternals is streaming on Disney+ tomorrow.

Ahead of the digital release, Marvel Studios have shared two short deleted scenes from the movie, below.

The clip, above, features Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) and Sprite (Lia McHugh) debating the point of protecting humanity. Makkari raises the example of the defect of Thanos.

The second clip, care of IGN, above, features Sprite confronting Dane Whitman (Kit Harington) at the museum about his relationship with Sersi. During their exchange, Sprite challenges what Dane believes is true about the history and even dinosaur fossils.

In Chloé Zhao's adaptation of Jack Kirby's cosmic masterwork, the story takes place across two time periods. One storyline is set in the past when they operated as a formidable team and a close family unit. The second storyline is in the present when the group has fractured and split apart, content to live among humans, hiding in plain sight. The prevailing threat of the Deviants, which once again threatens the existence of mankind, means the Eternals need to put their differences aside and regroup.

Directed by Chloé Zhao from a screenplay by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, Eternals stars Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Barry Keoghan as Druig and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman/Black Knight.

Eternals is streaming on Disney+ from tomorrow and out on DVD and Blu-ray from February 7.
