THE BATMAN IS COMING TO STREAMING SERVICES

Fans of DC's Dark Knight will be pleased to learn the latest movie incarnation, The Batman, is coming to streaming services very soon.

In fact, it'll be available to rent at home in both the UK and US from next week, via slightly different methods. Despite the Matt Reeves-helmed movie only hitting theaters at the start of March this year, it'll shortly be available to film lovers in the comfort of their own homes as early as April 18.

The US will be getting access via HBO Max on April 18, with the UK having it a day later, on April 19, on Premium Video on Demand.

The film stars Robert Pattinson as the newest version of Gotham's protector, with a stunning ensemble that includes Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Colin Farrell, Paul Dano,  Andy Serkis, and John Turturro, and Peter Sarsgaard.

Check out our review of the film here. The critical reception to the DC flick was largely positive, with 87% on its Tomatometer (accumulating some 457 critic reviews) certified fresh and a slightly higher approval rating, of 87%, for its audience score.

So far, the movie's performed well at the global box office, amassing $737 million, with $360 million of that coming from domestic ticket sales in the US.

The Batman is currently still showing in theaters but will be available to rent from April 18, 2022, onwards.
